blunder
As applied in cases of ordinary negligence is the want of or absence of ordinary care, a failure to do what should have been done or the doing of that which should not have been done, resulting in the happening of an event or injury which could have and should have been foreseen and avoided by use of such care as a reasonably prudent person would have exercised under the same or similar circumstances.
